Hello everyone,

My USMMA candidate portal status changed from ready for review to under review. How long does it usually take for them to make a decision? It has been like that for about 2 weeks now.

Two days to two months. Good time to practice patience. Good luck to you.

I submitted everything in Early December and got my appointment today! You should have yours by the middle of February.

Not necessarily. Your experience may or may not be the same as others reporting here.
I wish my son had his appointment already! haha And the wait continues for many of them. I am taking a 10-day vacation after all this crazyness.

Haha. Believe me I understand what you are feeling. But you are just waiting to find out if you get to board the rollercoaster. The real ride has not even begun yet. My recommendation - wait until they graduate and then take 30-day vacation.

I completely agree with this! When my DD was accepted to West Point with thought the sleepless nights were over. Wrong! Those 4 years were much more stressful and she kept most everything from us so we wouldn’t worry!

My KP experience was that getting in, with all of the stresses and questions, was the easy part. Not sure how my parents took it, to be honest. I never asked when they were alive, and it was something that we never discussed.
