Her journey began when she applied through HPAC while at the academy, where only four candidates are selected for the Nursing program. Approval from the superintendent is crucial, as it guarantees acceptance due to the program's 100% approval rate by universities like Harvard, Johns Hopkins and Columbia, among others. Xandria chose Johns Hopkins for its esteemed Master's in Nursing program currently ranked #1 Masters in Nursing and her compatibility with its schedule. Obtaining the Superintendent’s approval is a prerequisite before becoming a candidate, necessitating release from the Line of the Air Force. The selection process involves an interview by HPAC in the spring of the 2nd year, evaluating GPA, MPA, and extra-curricular activities, leading to a recommendation to the Superintendent. If approved, one can apply to the professional school or the desired career field. Additionally, my other daughter got an appointment for class 2028 As well, so good luck and congratulations to you both! 🎉
