USAFA Waiting Thread C/O 2027

My third nomination just showed up in my portal, although my nomination from my congressional representative shows two check marks labeled district # nomination. What does that mean?

Are we all waiting for DODMERB? Any updates from them other than that they are communicating with the academies?

I think so. I was talking with another candidate, and she said she got a full appointment, DODMERB cleared. But she had her medical done in September.

I got a conditional appointment waiting on DODMERB.

Did you receive that conditional appointment via email or portal? I am only waiting on DoDMERB, but I am very anxious.

Why did it ask for height and weight? It said they needed mine but when I clicked the link it said I already submitted it.

Seems to me that DoDMERB is slammed and admissions would like to get ahead of the curve a little. Usually height/weight is received from DoDMERB but some are still waiting for appts.

Waiting for DODMERB. Exams submitted from DODMETS 12/20. Will give it another week then may have D email DODMERB to see what's happening with her file.

I submitted my DODMERB exams in early October and it didn’t get qualified until December. They seemed to be slammed right now.

Given they are manually processing still, two-three weeks (which includes holidays) does not seem like near enough time to allow them to process before emailing them. Two weeks would have been pretty fast under normal circumstances. If it were my child, I wouldn't encourage them to email until it's been at least 6-8 weeks. Emailing them isn't going to get her file reviewed faster and it just adds to the manual workload they are already doing. Just my two cents. But I get that the waiting sucks.
