I think it varies. Got mine done by 10/10/22, still no notice. For those of you tracking timelines for DODMERB results.... DS had med. and vision exam completed 11/5/22 and received "qualified" notice today.
So he did need to send his height and weight or didn't?Ds got the height and weight email too with a link to a site that told him he already submitted or they had it from dodmerb. He's been dodmerb cleared since September. He emailed his team at USAFA including his height and weight and received an email back this morning that he was good.
Waiting is hard
Same. DoDMERB complete and box checked for USNA and USMA since November, but showing incomplete for USAFA. All SAs should have received results at same time.I got the height and weight plus the body fat. I had my DoDMERB completed back in Sept for USNA but is still has not updated for USAFA.
I don't know, he included the info in his email. Not sure if it was necessary or not.So he did need to send his height and weight or didn't?
I had the same thing where I'm DODMERB cleared and it said I already submitted my height and weight and no further action was needed so I didn't bother emailing anyone.
Just wondering where you find this info? Is this something that you got from your ALO or admissions officer?Just thought I would let’s you guys know that the admissions board met on January 3rd so hopefully that means so more appointments flowing through soon
I suspect USAFA’s Admissions Board has been meeting regularly, likely weekly, since the start of the academic year. There are many parallel and intersecting processes and decisions ongoing, performed by various collaborating groups, a finely tuned and intricate decision matrix with multiple players. I believe the Board looks at overall admissibility. The Noms and Appointment folks are doing their coordinating pieces of class-building. Medical waiver decision actions are threaded throughout. New data is still coming in. Prepsters and college re-applicants are starting to come into focus. The “numbers” are being monitored to see how the yield (accepted offers out of extended offers) is coming along, with regard to the target range size for the class. The appropriate senior authority makes final decisions on appointment offers. The work overlaps, surges, shifts and re-coalesces as each “nomination bucket” is resolved.Just thought I would let’s you guys know that the admissions board met on January 3rd so hopefully that means so more appointments flowing through soon
As always thanks for the great information Capt MJ!I suspect USAFA’s Admissions Board has been meeting regularly, likely weekly, since the start of the academic year. After the Board meets, someone does not jump up and run to a keyboard to update portals with offers of appointment. Someone whose record might have been seen by the Board in October might not get an offer until March. It’s a complex, dynamic, carefully orchestrated process - awesome when you think about it - as the fine folks on these SA Admissions teams labor to meet class goals, intentionally and carefully consider each application, and gradually and expertly build a new class “from scratch” each year, threading all these functions and data elements into the fluid process of decisions large and small.
For any Admissions people reading this, big crisp salutes to you for how you drive this process every year and work together as a multi-functional team, everyone addressing their particular responsibility, to get it done. Extra crisp salute
