So the no news is good news option is true, to a certain degree, with the portal. If they have not declined you through the portal, then you are still in the game, is that what I am understanding.? Also, if you were selected for CGAS, would that info come through the portal as well?

My son's did. It was the last day of EA.
 
DS received a TWE this morning...He was a little disappointed, however he can now focus on his Plan A (Arizona State / honors / scholarship / Aerospace Engineering)...So not bad.

Sorry for the news, but love your "Plan A - Arizona State"! Great attitude, and a great school - my friend's son is a freshman there in doing honors and Robotics Engineering. He LOVES it, and his parents are truly impressed. Watch out for Sparky!
 
So what came through today were the last of Regular decision and they will begin to work on the wait list?

Anyone get scholars this round?

DD sent in her scholar paperwork about 2 weeks ago and we have not seen anything different on bears den.

Congrats! Are you the proud dad who posted the handsome pic of your son? So happy for your family? My Son #2 will be applying to USCGA in few years? I might post his pic:)
 
So do they email everyone or just post in the portal? my daughter said she can't seem to access the portal.
 
Congratulations Doc! We are still waiting, my son applied in the EA but is waitlisted. Yesterday he received an invitation for the AEP, which stated " Congratulations on receiving your conditional or full appointment to the United States Coast Guard Academy." I don't know what that meant because he did not receive a separate email that his status has changed. Does anybody have an idea what this meant? Thanks.
