The Scholars Program requires acceptance notification by April 1. I believe your DD may be notified sooner than May 1 if she gets pulled off the Scholars wait list.

I tried to find where you saw that April 1st is the last day to accept Prep School can could not find it.

Your correct it is May 1. For some reason the conditional appointment letter given to my DS said April 1, but once his medical cleared and he was offered a full appointment to Scholars with an updated letter it now says May 1. Interesting thing about that is all the registration paperwork is also due by May 1, so not sure how that works.

I said April 1st. If May 1st, then those on the prep school wait list will not get notice of a appointment until after 5/1. Too late for my DD. Had to accept Plan B no later than 5/1.
 
Hand book says that May 1st is the final day to submit paperwork. So acceptance has to before 5/1. Make sure about this as you do not want to lose this opportunity.

My DD ended up there also. She said it is very close to a rejection. She will accept her plan B offer 5/1/17. I do not think anyone comes off that list.

It took a little over a week for my DD's BFE to arrive. Congratulations!
 
So all RA candidates have been notified? So now the waitlisters just wait........

Just something to note: If you received a full appointment you should expect it in the next couple of weeks. If you have a conditional appointment (i.e.- Not yet DodMERB qualified) then you would have to wait for notification of full appointment before expecting the package to arrive shortly after.

The wait list exists for a reason. Anyone can ask to be removed from it as well.
