I didn't think there would be that much appointment acceptances left for them to get. There's still plenty of hope for CPRs. Good luck to all!
 
Any Idea on how many applications were completed, know in years past it was around 14000?
 
Yes, but only a couple thousand ever become 3Q with a nomination. So that reaching certain milestones puts candidates in a more likely position so that the 3Q'd with a nom are not competing against 14000 other applicants for an appointment.

I am not 100 percent that's it, I found CPR (complete pending review) on the acronym list here on this site.
 
CPR-Complete Pending Review
It's a remote island with many residents. Sadly, there have been many people voted of the island in recent weeks. This is leaving the remaining residents very nervous thinking they could be the next one voted off and sent away. Those who remain continue to hope and pray for a golden ticket to relocate off the island to their dream place USNA, like some of their comrades have been awarded, while mourning the losses of their friends who were forced to leave the island without the golden ticket. Although there are stories of people finding their way back to the island sometimes years later and finding their golden ticket! This island may not be the most desired place to be, but it is a safe place at the gateway to what some have called paradise!



CPR is also a status on the USNA portal that many candidates including DS are holding in until TWE or BFE arrives.
 
For those wondering what does USAFA use?...here's what it looks like in my DS's portal.
Your Status: Candidate*
Your Application is: Complete
*When you submit your application you become a "Prospect." When USAFA processes your application you become an "Applicant." Should USAFA deem you competitive and/or you receive a nomination, you will become a "Candidate." Note that you may receive a nomination and still not be deemed competitive by USAFA.
