Oh boy, now I have to mentally prepare for that again 😉... I had moved on to 30-Apr 😂... just asked DS to check his portal to see if he’s been added to waitlist - we don’t talk about when/how often he checks so I’m in the dark on all of that.... he’s a very patient soul so just goes about his business (“whatever is meant to be”). I’m the high strung one 🤪!!!

Same here. Although my son is starting to say he just wants to know already! They also told my husband that candidates receive an email at the same time as the portal update. That’s interesting because I haven’t heard people here saying that.

💯 what my DS says. I love how much the experienced folks on SAF encourage getting Plan B in place because that has surely helped us (almost too excited to Plan B 😂). He just checked his portal - nothing... maybe by Thursday??? Good luck 🍀 to your DS - and all folks still waiting!! Another day closer to 15-Apr or 30-Apr 😉......

I did not and still have not received an email

Ugh, that’s inconsistent with what they are saying online today. You haven’t heard anything yet, right? Or are you waitlisted or loa for usna?

To folks who haven’t heard anything, they are telling them in the chat today that they can expect to hear by the 15th.

I was told the 15th is when they would like to get all decisions out, but given the difficult environment this year, expect delays. As of March 31st, the Admissions Board was still actively meeting.

It’s frustrating that you were told that and they are saying something different online, unless my husband is misinterpreting their commitment to the 15th.

Well it’s likely that a lot of people are asking the same questions at this time so an answer must be given, i. e. the 15th. There are still two more days until that time so there is a possibility there. Just know that there is a chance that it could be beyond that date that you hear back.
 
As a casual bystander this year, I could see all those being valid.

Most could hear by 15th. Especially if waitlist drop was today. In previous years the main TWE drop came a couple days later.

With medical potentially being delayed, there could be many slates still unresolved. Maybe there are 2 competitive candidates for those slates that wouldn't necessarily be competitive nationally, and USNA is having to wait for resolution and is prepared for those decisions to run till end of Month or later. .Just my guess...
