My DS portal still says Applied. No idea how far into this process he actually is and nothing from admissions except we will know by the end of the month
 
My son just checked. His LOA is still there, but it now has a date of "must satisfy by" of May 7th instead of April 29th. Goalposts just keep on moving!

Good news though, he was selected to be in the Tier 1 group for an NIH study at his back-up school of choice (which we put the deposit down for yesterday). He gets 66% tuition coverage, tutoring/mentoring, and priority placement in the dorms as part of it! Something positive!

Routing for him! Glad your goal post moved, instead of got shut down. It’s something!!!
 
i could be wrong but at this point the only people that are still in contention for appointment are those that already have an LOA and are just waiting for waivers or missing items (maybe missing a NOM). i tracked this diligently back when it was my DS and there were no non-LOA appointments this late in the game. there are however those that will get waitlisted which is a good place to be instead of flat out TWE. if you are waitlisted i would recommend accepting your plan B and reapply. WL's have a good shot at the reapplication from what ive seen on this board as they are very strong candidates and USNA just does not have a place to put them in the current year.
 
This is incorrect. Look at prior years’ threads. And also what admissions has said. My own was appointed without an LOA, late in the game.

You aren’t out until USNA says you are out. Hold tight. Don’t panic. And continue to work alternate plans.

I talked to my congressman’s office and no one from his slate has gotten an appointment yet. So we figure it is coming anytime now. If it was only people with LOA’s left then that would mean all the TWE would have went out already. There are a bunch of people with no LOA that are still waiting.

You and my Luke are one in and the same..... Totally cleared no waivers no problems forever. Now the LUKES just need the golden envelope(s)! ⚓️👍⚓️

For my Conditional Offer LOA, this date was continually moving. Everyday I would check, the letter head would update to the current date and the "must satisfy by" date is always going to be 14 days from the current day. That date is pretty much arbitrary and moves daily. I think USNA just put it there to make candidates get their stuff done sooner.
