I think it's a good sign that wait list offers have gone out! They are hopefully just finalizing all your golden tickets!

I guess for myself, the reason I haven't asked the chat questions is because, I just don't know if it would reflect poorly on my application. I guess as much as I wanna know to about my current status, I see it as continuing to be patient and praying for the outcome I have worked towards to almost be better.

I'd be shocked if the admissions staff that are manning the chat are the decision makers on whether you receive an offer or not. I could be wrong.
 
At this point, you are either getting an email with a "Thank you, but TWE," or a "Check your portal," which is good/better news. Another week to wait it seems.

Our oldest is off to AF boot camp on May 4th. Hope we know before then!! :p

There was an earlier quote from someone who said that if you don’t have an LOA, you aren’t in the running for an appt. but I’m inclined to believe that isn’t true. According to admissions chat we should hear from USNA in the next week and you could get USNA, NAPS or Foundation. No news is good news till the bad news comes. Fly Navy!!

Yes, I saw that too and many right after said it was incorrect. I think all of us still waiting have a very good chance at some type of offer. At least I'm praying that to be true:)

I do not have a Letter Of Assurance, LOA. I am medically qualified, no waivers required and I have been wait listed. I am still in the running and expect to hear May 1st or later. I am also on the USCGA's wait list. That's a lot of waiting!:D

Just learned that somebody else had gotten in last week from my same district and same congressman. Definitely scary, but keeping spirits high. I have worked hard, I am proud of myself, and I am not going down without a fight. I will get into United States Naval Academy, and I will see all of you there!
 
Good Saturday morning! Still waiting,,,,, Watched the movie "Annapolis" last night on Netflix. Just wondering if any of you fine SAFer's have seen it? Normally I would do my research on it, but nah. It's called "Annapolis" so I am watching it! Doesn't matter if it is a B movie. I would give it an A-. I was hoping for an A. ⬅️See what I did there?
