This thread has been too quiet lately. Looking at last year's threads, a culling of the Wait List took place around June 4th where some received TWE's and a few were allowed to remain waiting.
My son was wait listed April 13th. He has told people when asked "if a miracle happens" he may get in. He has embraced his alternate alternate plans and those plans keep moving forward. He will attend freshman orientation and register for classes the week after his h.s. graduation next month. He was accepted into the ROTC program at university and will attend ROTC New Student Orientation a week before classes begin. He smiles and says thank you when people congratulate him on his college acceptance and scholarships. He will gladly lose his deposits and decline/return scholarships if he gets The Call. His ultimate goal is to commission so he is still on task no matter how things turn out. The path he will follow in his journey to commission is still yet to be determined. I am really not that fond of cliff hangers myself though.
