Declinations will start appearing. No doubt some are already out there - low-hanging fruit, sadly, such as clearcut CFA failure or non-waivered medical.Does Admissions wait until April to notify candidates of rejection or is it also on a rolling basis?

Welcome new member of 16 minutes! Be sure to read pinned posts at the top of various forums. You can find The Acronym List on the home page. Thanks for the info.
Sen Warner D-Va said he had over 500 applicants state-wide just for USNA.MY DS got a Sen Nom also and that letter said they had over 200 applicants. CT-5 had 7 USMA and 3 USAFA Noms this year.
Yes, hold off on reading it for now. You’ve got this!!!!Before DS hit “accept” I asked him again if he understood his commitment, and if he still feels this is the path he desires considering our World climate. His answer was, “now, even more than ever” - I still haven’t figured out how I feel about it; I’m proud of the man he is becoming and worried of what is ahead. God bless our nation, our soldiers and our families - I would love to read Brothers Forever, but perhaps I should wait a little longer - this mama’s heart can only take so much!
And message me anytime you need a battle buddy.Yes, hold off on reading it for now. You’ve got this!!!!
Congrats for knowing Plan B is in place if needed ... AND, love the Gnarlygoat photo!Good start to our long weekend as DS was offered a place at his second choice school today! Makes the waiting and speculating a little bit easier here ️

Did your DD receive two nominations? I think my wife, DS, and I sat at same table as you guys?I was at that dinner with my DD. We are district 2 also and have not heard anything yet.
Hello! yes she did! How are you holding up with this waiting?Did your DD receive two nominations? I think my wife, DS, and I sat at same table as you guys?
so glad I live in district 5, at least that was only around 80 people. My kid was going against 200+ for 10 slots in our District (per the interview panels each year). Doesn't help that that District also includes Annapolis in the mix of people.
Welcome new member of 17 minutes!Hi. My DD applied in District 1 Maryland and we are waiting like so many others. Has anyone from the Eastern Shore of Maryland heard anything yet? My DD is 3Q with an MOC nom and a letter from Senator stating she would have his nom too but it was known that she already had MOC nom.
Low hanging fruit? My son currently is medically disqualified, but he’s anything but low hanging fruit. With so many variables, I guess a lot of things beyond his control could designate him as “low hanging fruit.” He will as he always has control what he can…onward upwardDeclinations will start appearing. Capt MJ is not only one of the best resources on this site imo, she is also one of the most compassionate people I have interacted with. She meant no offense.Low hanging fruit?
