USNA Class of 2028 Turned Down List
1) LKT/DS/MOC (VA-10) and NROTC noms/college re-applicant/Turned down April 11/ STATS: 3.87 college GPA (all As in Chem Calc English and NavSci, B+ in Public Speaking), top of the NROTC unit, multiple volunteer and activities with his unit, 1510 SAT (780 E and 730 M), 33 ACT, 4.16 GPA HS, captained HS wresting team and travel wrestling team, volunteer work coaching wrestlers, and working with SAT bootcamp, 7 APs including two Calc and Physics; other things I can’t remember.

Yeah, I’ve thought the same thing also, but I always attributed the lack of a list to people not wanting to put themselves down as TDs.

My son is in AK. Still pending for all 3 academies he applied to (USNA, USMA and USAFA). He heard anecdotally that someone from AK had an appointment to USMA prep school months ago but haven’t heard of any other Alaskan appointments.

I take that back - it may have been in this forum or USAFA that someone said someone from AK was in the group chat. I think it was USNA.

The Story of the Chinese Farmer​

Once upon a time there was a Chinese farmer whose horse ran away. That evening, all of his neighbors came around to commiserate. They said, “We are so sorry to hear your horse has run away. The whole process of nature is an integrated process of immense complexity, and it’s really impossible to tell whether anything that happens in it is good or bad — because you never know what will be the consequence of the misfortune; or, you never know what will be the consequences of good fortune.

seems as though everything is going crazy on the website so maybe it was a glitch in the system

Sadly, still turned Down for my DS! Lucky duck!!
