USNA Class of 2028 Waiting and Speculating

Portal changed from Pending to CPR two days ago. No change since. No email. No contact from MOC.
Could this change in status be another “miserable fail” on the USNA’s admissions office?
I certainly hope not, but I am starting to wonder….
I really respect and admire that so many on this forum absolutely love everything about USNA, but you have to admit this error is downright embarrassing.
Go Navy, Beat Army!!!
(My father was in a tank in Patton’s Third Army; can’t believe I switched teams.)
I think they have 72 hours to notify you, so let's hope the mishaps have passed!

It's pretty egregious to be sent a rejection email, then a retraction a few hours later that basically says 'sorry, you're still in it, for now, but maybe tomorrow we'll send you another rejection.' The retraction should have said 'sorry, we're actually offering you an appointment.' I've never heard of any college doing anything like that, ever.
lol I’d be pretty mad if my final decision really is turned down after be turned down and then being sent an email saying that it was an accident

My guess is they are giving your MOCS 72 hours to contact you and then your portal will change.

This isn’t specifically for Holden100, but if you have portal FUBAR feedback for USNA admissions I recommend that you provide it to them and let them know how it impacted the process.
At our fall CVW the admissions staff was very blunt about how bad the portal was and how far they were behind. The message was "Don't give up the ship". It's April and I'm sure they're worn out and not proud of the mistakes, but they're well aware of how they got here.
