Is 15 April the definite notification date, or could it come later? Thanks...Well, just an update for everyone. I have been reading up on other forums posted from previous years and it seems a lot of denial letter are sent out the day before all applicant’s know their status. Of course, this may definitely not be true for this year and it may have not been a pattern for the previous years. I still don’t have any word yet, but after reading those posts I’m crossing my fingers that I don’t get an email tomorrow and instead get one of the 15th!
I believe it's the official date where they update you on your status based on the email. Tomorrow you will know. Best of luck to you.Is 15 April the definite notification date, or could it come later? Thanks...

Sadly I don't work for USNA so I don't have any way of knowing. I do know in the past they have tried to stick to their deadlines, as much as humanly possible. As a sidenote, I admit to looking at job openings at USNA, it's a dream to work there someday. I would happily do laundry to be around MIDN all the time. I know, I'm weird. Is 15 April the definite notification date, or could it come later? Thanks...
Hello all,The best thing to do is contact summerstem@usna.edu and confirm your application. It usually takes them 1-2 days to respond, and if you don't get accepted, don't feel discouraged because it won't determine your chances of getting into the academy when you apply and it's an outreach program meaning they usually target students in underrepresented geographical areas. Don't stress out too much and you will know your official status by April 15th, and apply to USNA SS and boys/girls state Junior year. Don't lose hope and I hope to see you there!
