I had been disqualified because of a history of pulmonary embolism/systemic embolism. I felt that my chances were very slim. I had surgery to correct Paget Schroeder Syndrome.
Through the waiver process I was granted a waiver.
I just want to thank all of the people known and unknown at DoDMERB who helped me through out the waiver process.
I know that I would never have made it without the help of Larry Mullen
. He is by far the most dedicated person I have had contact with. I believe that he views the cadets as people and not just case files. He is truly an asset to DoDMERB.
The people who work with him are just as dedicated and care for the people that pass across their desks. These people are the best!
