Ways to attend Dive school in ROTC

Hello all,

I have received an NROTC 4-year scholarship and I will start school in late August. I am very excited for what opportunities the military will have for me in the future. Lately, I have been thinking about what I want to do in the Navy and going to dive school seems like it'd be a good experience. I know that one way to go to dive school is by becoming an EOD officer, but I was wondering if there are any other career paths in the Navy that would allow me to go to dive school?

Dive School is very tough to get into while in ROTC, but NavyNOLA can probably advise you on the many unique dives in New Orleans.

Check the PE classes available in college. Some offer scuba. Or do spring break in Cozumel and get certified there.
