Seems like it, but I'm hopeful they might realize many people didn't have the opportunity to take the tests and take it out from the application, since this was my most anticipated summer program I wanted to apply to. But doesn't seem like it

I have a question about the nomination process. I just received the "Noncommital" email from Westpoint. It said to get in touch with my representatives immediately. Does this mean personally? Because the applications for my congressmen and representative do not open until May 1st. I apologize if this is a dumb question.
 
There is no dumb question! We are all learning as we go! My son received the non-committal letter too and his congressman doesn't open the application process until May 15th. Both senators open in June. My son is going to get ready what he can--it states on their website what is needed. Then when the application process opens--submit what they need. Time is of the essence with nominations. Be ready, prepared, then submit. It shows a lot about you as a candidate that you do not procrastinate and that you are organized and on top of things. I wish you well!

My DS just received an email informing him that SLE will now be virtual and that candidates who applied will be notified of their status by mid-April.
 
Looks like the USMA website for SLE was updated:
Applicants will be informed of their status by mid-April. If selected, students may choose between six SLE sessions:
  • Session 1: May 29 - June 1, 2021 (Morning)
  • Session 2: May 29 – June 1, 2021 (Afternoon)
  • Session 3: June 3 – June 6, 2021 (Morning)
  • Session 4: June 3 – June 6, 2021 (Afternoon)
  • Session 5: June 8 – June 11, 2021 (Morning)
  • Session 6: June 8 – June 11, 2021 (Afternoon)
 
I got an email today saying that SLE is going virtual and acceptance will be emailed by mid April.
 
Question about SLE Community Page- I sat with DS while he opened his profile and checked the box for SLE; at that time the Community page was black with only the WP crest. That was over a month ago. Today, I checked to see if there were any updates and the Community Page is asking for log-in information. I inquired with an FFR about it and she said that WP was not utilizing the SLE Community Page this year...per WP admissions "Please note that the SLE community link is inactive and will not be used for this application cycle." Unless, DS didn't actually check the box for SLE consideration🤔...
 
I also have the same issue as well. it also asking for login info like my email and password, but it gave me an error message after I put in my gmail and gmail password. I also try to put in my gamil with the West Point portal password, it still not working

He should've received an email about being considered when he finished his CQ. That's the only way to check if they were part of SLE application. The community was said to be broken from the start. I got my consideration for SLE, and the email stated the community was broken.

For the actual portal, you should've gotten a username and a password from when you completed the CQ. You shouldn't be using your gmail to be logging into the portal

yes, we have everything for the portal- log in, etc. I heard from an FFR- the SLE community is not being used this time, so that is confusion. In my opinion, WP should have left that screen black and not asked for log in info.
 
For it to have changed it this point (after being black for so long), maybe they are getting it ready for the acceptances later this week?
 
I am sure many of you know but SLE is virtual this year.

WEST POINT SLE IS VIRTUAL. (This sucks)

I believe that the Coast Guard Program is in person still, yet their deadline probably is this week or already passed.

The application to the US Coast Guard Academy summer AIM is due on 15 April (THIS Thursday). Good luck!
