You’ll know it’s over if you receive TWE. Until then, you’re still in the running. Try to be patient. WP makes it clear that most offers go out in March, but also later for some.

It's not over until it's over. Unless you are disqualified or receive an actual rejection, they will continue to consider your son's application as Admissions still has more slots that are yet to be filled.

Keep the faith! And I do not know all of the details but several years back someone’s DS in a neighboring district received a call 48 hours before R Day from USMA awarding him an appointment and he jumped on it! So anything is possible

In our house, we only really check on Tuesday and Friday night thats when we've heard the admissions meets and the portal changes, IDK. Thankfully he has football right now from the delayed fall season and I keep on him about grades. ------The hard part.... we can pretty much see West Point from where we live.

You'll be told. Usually when things take this long they're waiting on another cadet candidate in the Congressional slate to settle a medical issue or something like that before they do the final tally. You will hear either way--they won't leave you in the dark.

My son assumed he was out when another boy in his high school got accepted from same nominating senator. 3 days later, March 11, a bfe showed up in the mail box. Keep hoping

It feels good to have support from other people that they’re in the same boat as we are. My son was finished everything about the second week in December. He was all green since then. The waiting is horrible. He’s gotten excepted to other universities he’s applied to but this is the one he really wants to go to. We are just waiting and waiting

I didn't hear until April 20th, so no reason to lose hope until you're given one.

In 2022 there were 22 appointments listed in April & May in the appointment thread.
In 2023 there were 19 appointments listed in April & May in the appointment thread.
In 2024 there were 10 appointments listed in April & May in the appointment thread.

Usually the appointment thread = about 10% of class appointments, that is a low of around 100 appointments for class of 2024 to about 220 appointments for class of 2022. Even though they trickle out in April and May they do still happen.
Glad your all green...don't lose hope! My daughter got her appointment on April 18th, 2018.

Until you hear something definitive, don't make assumptions - you simply have to wait. I was notified of an appointment in mid-May. Granted that was 25+ years ago, but until you have been told unequivocally "no" you are still in the running.

I spoke with West Point Admissions and they told me that a big mailer of appointments will go out mid April. So next week keep an eye out

By this do you mean candidates who have already been appointed will receive their BFE's or do you mean a wave of new appointments will come out? Still waiting myself.
