What does Junior year CVW mean?

I got invited to the CVW back in February. I went, and my passion to attend the Academy grew. I was just curious, is there a chance I will be chosen as a Candidate come July, considering I was already invited to attend the CVW?
 
Tons of previous threads on the very issue. Not a slam dunk on getting an appointment. There is always a chance. Do your best!
 
Selected as a candidate? Yes, most likely. An appointee? Invitation to a CVW is no indication at all. Read through the threads here and you will see there are candidates who attended CVW's and did not receive appointments.
 
I attended a cvw and summer seminar and didn't get into USNA. I didn't even apply for either of those things to West Point and got accepted. As you can see there is no correlation
