When is I-Day for class of 2024?

A collector’s item, findable on Poshmark and eBay.

The true Collectors' item would be the "Uncollege" tshirt that was available on the gray market when I was a Midshipman. The UNcollege saying was a knock off of a popular 7 Up add at the time; and Tshirt had a pretty funny knockoff of the Budweiser beer can with a really funny description of USNA in the fine print. -- The only part I really recall was the conclusion "Officers and Gentlemen,,by act of Congress only.." My recollection is that it wasn't well received by the Administration .

Yes, both UnCollege and the Budweiser (King of Service Academies) shirts were around in my day.

We never did have those new-fangled shirts that list every member of the class back in my day. Probably because my class was too large to fit on a shirt when we first got admitted. . . but not so large four years later (largest entering class ever and worst attrition in the modern era)

I would point out that some mids actually miss their USNA graduation for good reasons. A few years ago, the USNA women's lacrosse team made it to the "Final Four" for the first time and the event was held at the same time as graduation. The 1/C on the team elected to participate in the Final Four. They had a separate graduation upon their return.

Why so early? In NY our kids are still taking regents exams and my DS high school graduation IS on June 25th. If he gets an appt I'm sure he will be OK with missing graduation but it's unfortunate with the timing of events.
We're in NY. My DS will miss his graduation ceremony. It's being held on June 27th. As President of the Honor Society he was supposed to lead the procession of graduates. Oh well better things are coming. He was looking forward to it BUT he is looking forward to the Academy so much more.
