I agree. It is a poor choice for a starter word, due to - - as you say - - “inherent limitations” which we will not specify because today’s game is still active. Also, it is strange that two people pick the same word. But hey, even two blind squirrels find acorns every once in a while, I guess.

I have a list of words I use routinely...they always have at least two vowels, and many have double letter use...

But this has NEVER happened to me before.

I don‘t have a standard starter word but just randomly pick something that has a few of the more common letters. A blind squirrel indeed 🤣
