Your Decision is Ready

Interesting. Did your letter say to make sure everything is submitted? Since it’s a rolling acceptance I wonder why they would send you an LOE at all at this point instead of just an LOA.
“Rolling acceptance” at a SA doesn’t mean quite the same thing as at civilian universities. All it means is that the SA can review a file early in the cycle, but can make an offer of appointment, conditional appointment/LOA, anytime from start of cycle through June, though most offers of appointment will go out Jan-mid-April. A candidate can sit in Complete Pending Review for months.

Most cadets and midshipmen never received an LOA. It’s a class-building tool used by Admissions anytime for any reason.

An LOE is meant to goose the candidate along - encourage them - so the SA can see what they are working with and keep the review pipeline at a healthy flow rate.

Today in my son's portal, it states, "Your Decision is Ready"

The decision letter states that "the Office of Admissions believes you have the potential to be a successful cadet at the United States Air Force Academy."

"Once your file is complete and you have satisfactorily met all of the Admission requirements, I plan to move your file forward in our Admissions process. You may go to your online candidate portal or call your admissions counseling team to determine which requirements still need to be completed."

Is this the Air Force LOA? when I saw the decision letter I got all excited. He still needs to complete the CFA (next week) and also complete the second half of the ALO interview (in his case its 2 parts)
Did your son ever end up reaching out to the admissions office?

My DS received the same letter last year early November. If I remember correctly DS was waiting on nominations. He had interviewed with both senators and Congresswoman. We took it as a good sign. DS was offered his appointment early Jan 2023.
