My DD's ALO told her yesterday that he knows of a few in AZ that have been denied admission this month. How they were notified, we don't know.
It is hard to get focused on a second plan without knowing. I suppose that the good thing about all this waiting is that you get to decide on if this is really the path you want to follow. And everyday is one day closer to finding out! Hope he hears some good news soon!My poor son is so stressed - but I suppose that could ultimately be good for him. I just wish we knew something already so we can get ourselves focused on a course of action. Everything is on hold.
I had the same thought. Crickets in our part of Virginia too....I assumed that we probably wouldn't get MOC calls if we were now in the national pool.
Ugh, that has to be so frustrating!!! Hang in there! It sounds like he's got a great shot!!!!My son finished his application way back in October. He was deferred on January 15th. However, within the following month, he received a second nomination and the medical waiver he had been lacking. Additionally, he sent in improved ACT scores as well as some essays, new accomplishments, etc. But till this day, even after being told by his counselor that he was a "qualified candidate," he has yet to hear a single peep!!! The suspense is killing us both!!!
Looks like admissions actually did take a break over the academy's spring break we should hear something next week!
Well it's just one more day that we don't need to waitYa I guess so. I was told otherwise, but I guess we will just have to wait a little longer. Good luck evryone!
