Where are you located? Our letter has not yet arrived. I'm in Illinois.
 
Son received an email from two of his four schools today. Both said the letter wil be here soon if he has t received it already. Interesting they both emailed him around 4:00pm.

Wisbang35 - I am assuming that in all likelihood all the letters to the first board winners probably went out around the same day....with that said, what is the date that your son has to send his acceptance back to Cadet Command? Thanks.

"You must accept the scholarship NLT (no later than) 01/08/2016 and identify the college or university you plan to attend."
Doesn't say if it must be postmarked that day or they must have it by Jan 8.
 
I received an army scholarship and Understand you can accept it and hold onto it until R Day for West Point if you are accepted, but can you accept an Army Scholarship while waiting to hear from other ROTC programs as well? I also applied NROTC MO and just don't understand how that works. Thanks.

Yes you can hang on to it and decide to participate in another ROTC program later. Once you decide on the other ROTC program there is no need to hang onto it.
 
Hmmm...USPS' performance isn't stellar if letters are dated Dec 8 and aren't arriving until Dec 17 or later. Nothing yet in IL.
 
No letter as of yet, but DoDMerb status was updated today to reflect that Army ROTC had been added as an application with status as under review.
 
DS received his letter today. Chicagoland area. Same response date - 1/8/2016 as the others.
