Yeah, I know, but it seems everyone on this forum goes nuts when they are medically qualified for a ROTC scholarship like it's some amazing confirmation of a scholarship. I know that the service academies pre-qualify Candidates. But I've read more than several times on this forum that ROTC does not medically qualify unless you do receive a scholarship.I wish that was the case. In the past (following the October board) DoDMERB packets were sent to, what were considered, "desirable candidates". However, becoming DoDMERB qualified is not the same as being offered an AROTC scholarship. I'm in that same boat-been physically qualified since December, but still without a scholarship offer.
The DoDMERB site will reflect your physical qualification for AROTC, but the actual scholarship status will show up here:
https://schlr4yr.usarmyrotc.com/scholarshipstatus/
There will be a change from "interview" statement to "check DoDMERB" statement if a scholarship is headed your way.
Hopefully scholarship offers will be announced from the March 8 board soon.
Good luck!
