Norwich is strong in some majors - they have a good Nursing program and I think their computer security program is supposed to be pretty good. I went there for a semester as an Mechanical Engineering major and then transferred because I wanted more of a challenge academically and transferred to a good engineering school in my home state (still in ROTC). I don't know about the more advanced classes, but I was in freshman classes and saw rooks sleeping through all their classes, and failing while I felt that I wasn't trying too hard and got A's. I guess it depends on the person. I was also in the Honors program which was a great opportunity and I took a good honors class which was on Citizenship in American Society. Also, as a rook in the honors program I got to go to Montpelier for a day which was really nice.
I got this from their website:
For an incoming student, the average grade point average is 3.2.
For an incoming student, the average SAT score (critical reading/math combined) is about 1,100. The average ACT composite score is 24.
