As retired LE I continue to be amazed at the way routine-looking state crimes, i.e. those w/minimum sentences, catch & release, no bail required, can be taken to our friends in federal court!!
Robbing a pharmacy (Hobb's Act?? WTF??)...burning a patrol car...tisk-tisk, for shame...
To those active LE, (& firearm owners) out there, suggest you subscribe to the ATF's website, lots of knowledge over there...you know, for that special perpetrator...The one who needs to constantly be reminded (for the next 5-10) that, "If you can't do the time, don't do the crime!!"
