Hello. I am new here, but I have been considering attending West Point for some time now as well as learning about the application and nomination process. I am worried about my chances of nomination. The representative for my congressional district only considers applications for nominations if the applicant is 17 years old or older. I am young for my grade and I will not be 17 in the application window from the end of my junior to the start of my senior year. I am jumping the gun a bit for advice, since that is still a year off, but at this rate I will be competing with my entire state for a nomination from the senators. Any advice is much appreciated- if you need more details I can provide them, like I said I am new here and I am generally unfamiliar with this community.
