My DS received nominations to USMMA, USNA and West Point the week of T-Giving from his Alabama rep. I haven't heard if Senators have made selections.Has anyone received a nom from Alabama yet?
May I ask, are you located upstate NY or in the Metro area?Yes, I was nominated by Senator Gillibrand to West Point.
Congrats on the Kaine noms! Just to clarify did your DD receive two noms from Kaine to USNA and USAFA? Thank you.FYI for VA - DD just received email from Warner saying she was not selected. Not surprising, given Kaine noms.
Wow, congrats! My DS had to pick among USAFA, USMA and USNA appointments several years ago. He chose USMA and no regrets. There are no bad choices. Best wishes to your DD. Go Army (though)!!!!Two noms from Kaine. To West Point and USAFA. DD has LOAs to both
I am in NY-03May I ask, are you located upstate NY or in the Metro area?
We appreciate it! She’s halfway hoping she doesn’t clear medical so she doesn’t have to choose between the academies and Cornell Engineering!Wow, congrats! Yes, both happen. While I do think they collaborate to maximize to a degree. I know of kids getting multiple nominations in previous years. Last year I know of a few kids that got noms from both a Senator and Congressman.Does anyone from PA know if senators and representatives collaborate for the SA nomination process to maximize the number of candidates receiving nominations or is it possible to get multiple nominations from different MOCs?
from 06 here as well and im in the same exact boat as your ds/dd; i was planning on emailing staffer lippert this evening to ask but decided to wait until tomorrow if no response was received - if i do have to email, ill keep you posted when he respondsMy kid is waiting on nomination for Chrissy Houlahan PA 6th. Anyone know status? They were supposed to announce in December but said they were delaying and would let everyone know more this week. Now it's Friday and wondering if anyone else heard back and how they notify? Thanks!
PA-04 released on 1/2, and emails went out the next day on 1/3. Senators are later in the month supposedly but hopefully you guys hear soon on the MOC.Thank you. Good to know there is someone else in the same boat.
Casey contacted nominees. Anyone hear from Fetterman?PA-04 released on 1/2, and emails went out the next day on 1/3. Senators are later in the month supposedly but hopefully you guys hear soon on the MOC.
We're GA-07, and got the good news on nomination right before Christmas (USAFA, USNA, and USMMA nominations). He's hopeful he hears good news from one or more of them soon.Which district? Our Moc (6) was quick on noms and my dd accepted her appointment to the USNA and bowed out of Warnocks last Saturday and Ossoff's. Has anyone heard from Warnock yet?
@blueskies18 - The ROTC/JROTC nomination pool includes everyone who is 1) in a JROTC program and the JROTC unit is an honor unit with distinction and 2) Any candidate who is currently enrolled in the AFROTC ROTC program at the college/university listed.Just received a primary nomination to USNA! I feel very honored, however, still a little disappointed as I did not receive one for USAFA and only have my Detachments Commander's nomination for the school. Does anyone know how this type of nomination works and what its chances are?
To all PA people here, Senator Fetterman's nom selections are out now and I was just contacted by phone for nomination to West Point! At least now we know that the waiting game is over for Fetterman. Good luck to all other candidates!Casey contacted nominees. Anyone hear from Fetterman?
