WRT Parents' group -
The muddying of the lines may stem from the fact there is a parents' group that works closely with the USMMA Alumni Assn and Foundation, itself an independent, non-Federal, non-profit organization.

The Academies themselves, as government organizations, don't have parents' groups, to the best of my knowledge. They are prohibited from official endorsement or support. The same is true at USNA. The USNA Alumni Association is an independent non-profit, which has a parents' program coordinator, who works with independent USNA Parents Clubs. I believe the USNA Alumni Association hosts various FB pages and does their best to post accurate info. But it is not USNA, the DOD entity, who has any official connection to parents' organizations or social media sites.
