Check with your MOC office or maybe your guidance counselor at school for upcoming events as well. Our MOC held a Service Academy Info Session that my son went to - met alot of people there and understood the process to be better when it came time to apply.

Budget may come into play as well. Just know that is a very wide range for both eating and staying but it is my absolute favorite place! More budget friendly options for lodging are typically not right in the walkable DTA area.

If they are missing any vaccinations I highly recommend getting them before I-day. I think my DS needed 2 that we spaced out at home. Yes they will catch them up on anything they are missing but they have enough going on without having a sore shoulder or slight vaccine reaction during Plebe summer.

Mine was bumped for space on subs week 1 of block 3 - gave him some time to kick around and chill but sorry he missed the sub experience. Same - keep hoping for some cool aviation pictures this week!!!

Same - trying not to be sad already and enjoy the last week. He is super pumped about going to SD. At least we hopefully have all those cool aviation photos to look forward too!
