    Waiver question

After many months, I've finally been granted a waiver by DoDMERB for my peanut allergy! Thank you to everyone on here that has helped me along the way, with special thanks to Mr. Mullen for setting me up in the right direction.

Am I Competitive to Receive Marine-Option NROTC Scholarship

I won the NROTC-MO back in April and these were my PFT scores: 23 Pull-ups 109 Crunches Three miles in 21:09 minutes Regarding pull-ups, it takes as much energy to get your chin to the bar as it takes for you to slowly lower yourself down. Instead, get your chin to the bar as quickly as...

    Expedite AMI?

I am in the same situation as kleiner10. I am also wondering the same if there is anything else I can do on my end to expedite the process, especially with school starting in a few weeks for me.

    Can ROTC rescind waivers?

I was checking DoDMERB and I noticed that my "Waiver Granted" status for Marine Corps NROTC went back to "Under Waiver Review". Granted, I'm not doing Marine Corps NROTC this fall, but is this something that people should be concerned about?

    Need Watch Help-Birthday Gift

If you want something akin to dive watches, you can't go wrong with a Seiko. They have a lovely collection of watches which go for around $300 MSRP. Models such as the SRPE or the SRPD are great watches. Invicta's ok, but I never liked their given sizes.

    Waiver question

I sent an email to the contact provided in regards to my Army ROTC waiver status but haven't received a response. I know this might seem like a silly and impatient question, but was I supposed to include my complete name and last 4 SSN as I normally do?

    Waiver question

I'm in the same boat as you, but another cadet had the same issue as us and was just granted his waiver. Just play the waiting game, I guess.

    Peanut Oral Challenge

I'm not a doctor, but I went through the oral challenge for peanuts so I have some insight into this. When I underwent the challenge, I was told to eat one whole serving of peanuts (1oz/28g/39 pieces) divided into three 10-minute intervals. After eating a single serving size with no reaction...

    Army Waivers/Medical Status

So at least I know the Command Surgeon is aware of the cadets needing waivers; I thought we were sidelined a bit due to other factors.

    Army Waivers/Medical Status

Has Army ROTC Cadet Command reached out to anyone regarding medical forms/statuses? I've been Under Waiver Review since March and nothing yet. I'm curious to hear of other people's current situation.

Marine Corps ROTC Peanut Waiver Granted/Army?

Well, the good news is that I was just granted a peanut waiver by NROTC-MO. If anyone's curious about my process, I had to submit forms from my allergist stating that I was medically cleared to eat peanuts, as well as a personal statement about my history of the allergy. This took roughly 3...

    Peanut allergy solved (hopefully)

I'm just writing this down so I can hopefully look back on this thread one day and tell myself to stop worrying so much. I'll update this thread when new information rolls around. Anyway, I was able to go to an allergist and they were able to confirm that I am indeed no longer allergic to...

    AF decisions

Is the army generally safe with what's going on? As in, are they at risk of letting go 50% of cadets like what AF ROTC did? I apologize, but I'm not very well-versed as to what's going on.
