    CFA concern/question

I'm a female candidate at USNA, and after searching this site for weeks, I can't find anyone answering one of the specific questions I have. (If it has been answered somewhere else, please link me to the thread.) I took my CFA in late September and submitted it to USNA. I was relatively pleased...

I received my offer of appointment earlier this month. But I also received a speeding ticket this month. Does anyone know if this will cause the academy to revoke my offer. And do I let them know about the ticket?

Does USNA deeply look at 1st semester grades from Senior year?

I am in some really hard classes/ falling off academically, only slightly A- (AP), A- (AP), B-(AP) B+(Honors), and B+ (AP)... will this hurt my chances? Im scared they will look at my half year grades with a lot of attention and that it will carry a lot of weight. (this is for my first marking...

    Admissions Question!

Hello, I have a quick question about USNA admitting/denying students. Do they deny student prior to the April 15th deadline, or do they only accept prior to April 15th? If so, are your chances of getting in lower if you are waiting until the 15th of April to hear back? Also, where I live I will...

Citizenship consideration for NASS and USNA

@GlacierNote, you are correct that U.S. Citizenship is not a requirement to attend NASS, but must be attained prior to I-Day. For Class of 2021 that is 29 Jun 2017. Are your parents applying for U.S. Citizenship, or are you waiting to turn 18 to start the process yourself? There are many...

    Appointments by Area

Does the Naval Academy do appointments by area? Such as by Congressional District or State? If so, does that mean that if someone in my district has gotten an appointment to the Academy, I did not get one? As of now I thought my chances were fairly good, as I have VA Senator Kaine...

Denied rotc, still have a chance?

Hello! I have applied for an NROTC scholarship as a back up plan, and today I found out that I was denied the scholarship. I know it's unrelated to the academy, but do I still have a shot? It's all I want to do and I feel discouraged since my backup plan failed. Thank you!! Monica

Hi, I'm not sure if there's already a fitting answer out there for my question as I can't seem to find it myself. Please redirect me if there is. :help: In my circumstance, I go to a high school that isn't exactly the best. It struggled to achieve AYP for a couple of years, is underfunded, and...
