2027 State Nominations Thread

Any nominations for Navy from Gillibrand in NYS yet? I believe AF nominations have gone out from her office but have not heard about USMA or USNA.

Capt MJ or someone else in the know. It has been referenced that, on occasion, a Representative or Senator may end up with two slates in a given year. Is it possible to get a nomination in both slates, and if so, how would that present itself on the USAFA candidate portal? Would it show up with the Representative or Senator twice (as two separate nominations)?

For Example:

... or how would you know there are two slates (slots) being allocated that year?

There are two sure-fire sources who would know: the elected official’s staffers and the SA. I don’t know how multiple noms from the same person reads in a USAFA portal, or if it does. If you don’t understand what you are seeing in your portal, contact Admissions. Since it’s not a critical item to know, let them enjoy the slightly slowed down holiday routine in the office. Thank of the calls and emails they receive every day, with questions both profoundly complex and the opposite, while many colleagues are trying to take time off to be with family. When I was a single officer, I often volunteered to be the duty person in the office answering phones or emails. You will to one day, let’s hope.

Thank you for the response. No, it's not important at all. It's not even worth the call to admissions. I was just curious how that happened if it ever did. Happy holidays!
