2028 State Nominations Thread

I wonder how many Feinstein applicants were there. Not many I assume because the deadline was essentially Sep. 30
He applied to Sen Feinstein’s office. I would assume this application was forwarded to Sen Butler’s office.

What happens if my nomination interviews are scheduled overlapping each other? I'm not allowed to opt for a different time.

Should I choose my Representative's nomination interview over my Senator's? (For a greater chance of obtaining it)

The slate is easier for MOC than the Senators.

Everyone on your MOC slate is also on your Senators’ slates.

What if OP has an LOA? As long as they get one nomination and are qualified elsewhere, they will receive an appointment? They don't have to worry about obtaining as many nominations as possible?

If you have an LOA, and you meet the requirements of that LOA (3Q + any nomination, plus any other listed requirement) will be an appointment.

You try to obtain as many as possible to have a better chance of getting at least 1 nomination to get the appointment.

DS received an email from Sen Butler's office today advising he made it through the first round of applications. He is on to the final round for interviews on December 2.
DD is scheduled for an interview on Dec 2nd as well. They sent her an email on 11/3 and it went to junk folder. She didn’t find out about it until today when Senator Butler’s office called her.

My DS was shortlisted and interviewed by our Senator's nomination team. Now both waiting for Senator and Congressman nomination (*fingers crossed*)

Georgia applicant as well!
Got notified by Senator Warnock's team about Dec. 2 interview this morning :biglaugh:
Waiting patiently for Senator Ossoff and my congressional representative 🤞

Did anyone get two interviews on Dec. 2nd? :(

I think I'll have to cancel one.
While every MOC runs their interviews as they see fit, I can tell you that the panel that I interview with is also on Dec 2 but recognizes that some candidates will have conflicts so we do "stragglers" the day before. The NJ Senators have also traditionally offered a make-up opportunity but I'm not working with them any longer so I don't know if they still do it. I recommend that you CALL and ask each of the two offices to see if there is a make-up opportunity.

anyone know anything about the timeline from the Georgia senators?
My daughter heard from the MOC 11/3 scheduling her interview 2 weeks out and heard from Warnock’s office today to schedule her for an interview Dec 2nd. Haven’t heard from Ossoff yet.

Has anyone heard from either NY Senator? Websites say mid-November/December for interviews.
