Boo army better (Congrats!!!!!)

Funny thing is I was interviewed by two Army people for Fetterman's nomination. I originally put down WP as my top preference but when I got my LOA to USNA I contacted his office and requested my preferences be changed from WP to USNA, but this was news to my interviewers. They were two Army people who expected to interview a kid who wanted a nomination to WP lol

If I receive a nomination from my congressman can I choose to defer them to someone further down on their list? I don't want to sit on multiple nominations if I am fortunate enough to receive multiple since I only need one to get in, so I would like to give someone else a chance at admission.

For PA 06 people here, I just emailed staffer Lippert and he said that he would be announcing results Friday afternoon.

If you still want a WP nomination then probably not? I’m not sure if you withdraw one SA preference, if that affects the entire nomination application or not. I would say just check with the respective staffers.

From what I have gathered on this forum, it looks like the SA ultimately decides which nomination source (of the ones you've earned) to charge you and the other admitted students to in order to get their full incoming class. Also, it seems some congressmen will talk to each other to make sure they don't double up constituents.

Got a call from Senator Fetterman's office ~1 hour ago. Got the nom to USNA. Last thing I needed to fulfill my LOA, and it was entered into my portal as well. Officially USNA bound

As soon as I picked up I ran over to my mom and we were jumping for joy when the staffer said I got the nom. Words can't describe how overjoyed I am, I was literally shaking and my heart was racing. I was pretty pissed off this past week because my congressman is over a week late on nomination results but this certainly makes up for it

Yes, my son did get a nomination from Hawley. No communication from Schmitt since the initial email stating they had his application. Was it good news for your brother?

It was undoubtedly a nomination from the candidate's congressman. Both New Jersey senators seem to wait until the end of January.

My friend with a DD applying to USNA heard from NJ Senator Menendez today - she got the nomination. He called and left a message for her to call him.

DS checked his USMA portal today. CA27 nomination is now there. Good luck to all!

Received a nomination from Congressman Fitzpatrick (PA-01) to USNA and USAFA yesterday! Didn't receive an email or a phone call, I was checking my portals and saw that his nomination was recently added.

Update: Just got a call from my Congressman's office and I was fortunate enough to receive a nomination to USNA, USAFA, and USMA! They are taking away my USNA one though since my Senator already gave me a USNA nom. My classmate also recieved a nomination to USAFA from him. These past 3 days have been truly amazing to me. The cherry on top is I think I did really well on my Calc test today!!!
