Acceptance date deadline for those with offer of appointment.

BUT CHECK your OWN correspondence! It should be very, very clear. YOU have the direct information, not us. It could change! Who knows...it’s a good habit to get into. Go to the primary source, follow instructions.

My DS is still CPR, trying to get an idea on timeframe in case he's waitlisted- for his plan B. They are both May 1.
 
Do NOT be late in responding (if you want to attend). Had a candidate a few years back who did not respond by May 1. On May 2, the status was updated to "turndown" as in USNA changing it's position on the appointment. I think the candidate had already made another choice but still . . .

Oh my, that would be bad.
 
It would be bad if the candidate had really wanted USNA. I don't think that was the case.

The moral of the story is that, if you're appointed to USNA and want to attend, don't miss the deadline to respond.
