AFROTC- AFSC's released soon?

I am also dying to know this information! I heard we find out around November!

I am curious, what were your AFSC choices?
 
The form 53 guide we were sent said mid-late october. So hopefully soon :D
 
1st: Space Ops
2nd: Chemist/Biologist
3rd: Cyberspace Ops
4th: Intel
5th: Acquisitions
6th: Operations Research Analyst

Really hoping for the top 3. I heard Cyberspace is a growing field, so I am prepared for that!

Hoping for number one but not sure how much competition I have because it's a small career field.
 
We were told they would come out the same time as last year which is early to middle of November.

Mine are: Acquisitions, Financial Management, Contracting, and LRO.

Safe to assume they will be out within the month.

If they say mid Oct., than be prepared for late Oct., 1st of Nov. If I recall correctly I always remember it being October, because in early November they will drop the UPT bases for cadets.

This is interesting to read from the list perspective, because it illustrates from a small sampling how the AF is changing. 3 years ago, Intel was basically the top of the list for most cadets and now I am seeing you all have space ops.
~ Our DSs friend is in Space Ops. He loves being stationed in Colorado. I don't think he minded being in California for training either.
 
@Pima -- dropping UPT bases in early nov? We haven't even submitted our 53s; UPT bases were released early spring of this year. Don't remember when 2014 bases were released. Those graduating in Dec have theirs already though.

Edit: those who commissioned this spring found out their UPT base in like..Feb or March
Edit2: they gave us our EADs even though we don't know where we're going yet lol. Which seems weird.
 
We're told it will be before our Dining Out date (last year that's when they released them) and ours this year is the middle of November.

Apparently it is a spontaneous date where they are released, no timeframe was set.
 
Caught word this morning that the "tentative date" for them to drop would be next week.
 
Also got the word from cadre, next week should be it.

I hope we all get our first choices!
 
I just got picked up for RPA on the supplemental rated boards 2 weeks ago. Originally I had it ranked "low preference", but my commander switched it to "high preference" thinking that I wanted any rated position.

When non-rated AFSC's come out, will I get something? I kind of want to pick between the two, but wasn't sure if I'm locked into RPA or not. My Det Commander is TDY for the next week so I don't have the chance to ask him.
