Airforce ROTC Interview

Got my airforce interview scheduled for the AFROTC scholarship. However one thing I am concerned is that in the email it says that the interview will take 1.5 hours. Did anyone else receive their respective emails stating that too? Does it actually take up to 1.5 hours?

My ds’s took about an hour. In contrast, his AROTC interview took less than 30 mins. He thinks both went really well.

My students have seen quite a range in AF (and other) ROTC interviews. I'd plan on the 1.5 hours. And be sure to dress appropriately. One of my students noted that in his AROTC interview, one candidate showed up in a black t-shirt and baggy pants. Another arrived in a black t-shirt too.

my AF interview took 50 min and army took 40

For instance, it turned out that my interviewer and I lived in the same country when we were both younger because of our parents' work. We basically went off script for the interview and were talking about our experiences, learning the language spoken there, the food, the schools we attended, and stuff which could vaguely relate to the interview but was more random. We also talked about card and board games.

My DD's took about 90 minutes.

We were talking about one of my ECs which had to do with that subject, so that's how it came up.
