I have a nomination and am CPR. However, I have not gotten any mail or information since the nomination in January. Should I be concerned? As well is anyone else still waiting? What news will I hear first? Email?, MOC?, or BGO?

If the MOC that nominated you didn't get reelected then you will likely hear from email first. However, if your MOC is still in office you would most likely hear from them first, but some MOC do not call and you will just get an email. I am also CPR

My son is still waiting.... and he has a nomination and fully cleared by DODMERB. Plan B is currently Plan A, unless Navy offers an appointment.

Same situation here as a college reapplicant, CPR and Complete Medical Qualification Exam. As I repeated in another post, I had a recognition reception in my district last week for all service academy nominees (about 20 of us) and only one has heard from a service academy so far (my one friend got into West Point). My congressman is newly elected, so I expect to hear from an email first unless he is already familiar with the process. I personally am waiting until the April 15th timeframe and am not expecting to get in, but if I hear sooner and do receive an appointment then it will be a blessing. Seniors, enjoy your senior year and STOP STRESSING, I did that way too much my senior year. Have plan B ready to go and if all goes good then you'll be in Annapolis come June. There are probably a lot of us that are still CPR or haven't even been reviewed yet, just be patient and have fun in the meantime because if you are fortunate enough to receive an appointment then you can kiss your free time bye bye once in Annapolis haha. Again, God bless and good luck to everyone.

Two nominations, medical waiver in December, and still CPR... I’ve pretty much moved on. I have an NROTC scholarship to one of the best engineering schools in the country. Still, I’m a little sad to watch one dream fade away, but I’ve found another dream school in the process :)

Still waiting here. Plan B is a three year Army ROTC scholarship to St. John’s University in Queens. It’s looking more like plan A at this point unless I hear from Navy

DS is currently a foreign exchange student in a European Country. The school he is in doesn’t actually give grades to FES’s. Today my DS got an email from the USNA telling him they are in contact with his school and they are providing them with his current translated report card.
His school’s Director has been very helpful with all of the SA’s that my son has applied to, lots of translated recommendation letters, progress reports, etc., and now I guess he has directed all of my son’s teachers to go ahead and give him grades too.
Thankful for all of the help from his host country regarding my DS’s future.
And because that email was just today, nice to know my son is still in the hunt and they are interested...
On we wait.

My son has acceptance to USMA and got his BFE after call from MOC in 2-3 days
MOC called to say he has acceptance to USAFA but still waiting for over a month for BFE.
USNA is his 1st choice, so keeping fingers crossed since January... I guess it is a long wait for everyone & good luck.

"grand-daddy-crush" is a strange member name.
I just had to say that. o_O

Hahahahaha! Yes it is! I'm horrible at thinking up good screen names for social media. So when I signed up for this forum I asked my 14 year old son "what is a good screen name?" He said "You're a dad, and you're a great one so you're grand, and you crush it as being a dad, so 'grand-daddy-crush.'" So I went with it. I caught him on a good day. Today he is frustrated with me so he may have a very different name for me if I asked.
