AROTC Picking A School

Is there such a thing as a list of schools that offer ROTC Programs, that includes statistics on each like number of cadets, number of slots for specific positions (rotating or fixed wing flight) or Nursing or whatever? Thanks and good luck to all candidates.

Not that I am aware of. I can only speak for Army, there are only two “slots” nursing or line. Line officers can branch into any branch and where they go is selected by OML. Nursing scholarship recipients are expected to be nurses. However, in ROTC active duty is not guaranteed.

In the AROTC application, if you select nursing as a major, it will only allow schools to be selected that has a nursing mission and nursing slots.

Also, if you talk to the Recruiting Operations Officer (ROO) at a particular schoool, they can tell you what their nursing and line officer mission is for a given graduation year. Even with these mission targets they have, it still does not guarantee active duty.
