Hello USMA community,

Quick question: If I’m still listed as “pending waiver submission/review” by May 1st, am I automatically rejected?

USMA resquested a waiver for my disqualifying condition(s) on January 23 right when my medical came back as “does not meet medical standards”.

Thanks.

What does your West Point portal say? Does it read "waiver requested" with a date?

Well if they requested a waiver that's good news...means you are competitive enough on slates to possibly get appointment. Application did not close until last Tuesday so this week would have been when they started settling those. However, DD is an AOG and is waiting for her waiver to be signed off on (which was supposed to happen Tuesday) but she was told due to the weather in NY and the hospital being closed or on limited staff nothing with waivers was done. So she is now on hold again until this coming Tuesday. Hopefully you hear something next week as well.

That sucks. Something tells me that not much will happen next week either as it is Spring Break.

Hmm, let's hope that they meet on Spring Break. Lots of folks anxiously waiting...

My packet is actually being looked at next week and I will get word from my liaison officer my week of spring break which is the week after theirs.
