I just saw something that said people were moving to St. John’s, I know that that’s the college right next to USNA, but what I don’t know is why it’s happening. I know Bancroft is very old and that COVID may play a part in the move, but I’m just curious why this is happening. Thanks!
 
Spreading out due to covid prep. They want to space the brigade in a way to avoid clusters if someone were to catch it. No clue how or who or any of those details.
 
Because wings have been set aside for ROM and isolation, there isn’t enough room in Bancroft. Leaders are looking for creative ways to bring Brigade back together.
 
Does anyone with boots on the ground in Annapolis know whether the St John's idea has actually been implemented ? I thought it was just a consideration when bantered about here a few weeks ago -- I'd really be curious to hear the details.
 
I know they still have many ‘23’s home. And I also know that those Plebe summer task force ROM’s that were voluntold told to so, that went back home after that was over, are also still home (predominantly’22’s). So there are still a bunch yet to reform. I guess “stay tuned”!!

My son has heard nothing. I have seen on Facebook that some 3Cs were told they will be staying there soon.
 
DS Company was told they were moving a week ago but haven’t yet.
 
Yes, St. John's has been implemented. Know a 1/C who is there now. Said A/C is better than in Bancroft. However, rooms don't have own sinks/showers, which is a negative. Haven't heard more than that.
 
Better A/C than Bancroft... you know us OGs are like... nice problem to have! :p

I would be curious how they are deciding who locates over there. I am sure a Mid will eventually give some details on how that is all being decided. Are they limiting Mids in Bancroft to 2/room or they allow full capacity in 3 man rooms?

DD is currently in ROM with 2 roommates from different companies.

My plebe is in a room in Mother B with two roommates, on deck, not in rom or iso. He heard last night that multiple companies were in 'observation and or iso', I am thinking that they are going to have to scramble to make room for that and I feel for them having to make these adjustments on the fly. I still think USNA is doing the best they can with a really crappy situation all around.

Two companies are slotted to go to St. John's. They don't now when yet-- or even for sure if it is happening. Companies have started making rosters, however. MIDREGS specifically only applies to Bancroft rooms. I'm excited to see when JOHNNYREGS come out.
 
Will the JOHN*N*Ys be eligible for an N in croquet?
 
As an athlete who would of had no less than 3 practices a day it would of sucked to go back and forth, but I mean no other Mids can say they lived off the yard as a Mid!
 
No other mids can say they were virtual. No other mids can say they did school at home. What a year!!

My Mids also stated two companies go over. My plebe said plebes from the companies were told they were going, my upperclass said plebes ARENT going.

Interesting either way!!

The 'Dant said last week in Instagram that Mother B would house 4100 Mids and 500 would be elsewhere in the Annapolis area. I heard on FB today that 3 entire companies are in ISO and the ISO wing is full. What a year!
