the only reason i said it could be a problem is that i was talking to someone that said that some squadrons do not allow phone usage for 4 digs during the week for a little while and to ensure this they might take the phone's battery and return it on week ends
however the iphone does not have a removable battery and that would mean that the whole thing would be taken
i'm not saying that i dont trust the upperclassmen but i know that stuff happens and things get misplaced or damaged sometimes and I wouldnt want to risk that with an iphone, when with any other phone you can buy a replacement battery, no biggie
and having an iphone, which is basically an ipod with the ability to call people would also be very tempting when it came to breaking the music rule since you can download the songs directly, i know other phones do that but i dont think it would be as easy as it is on an iphone and this could easily make it very tempting to break the no music rule
i am not a cadet so i could be completely wrong about this but it just seems not worth the risks
I have a blackberry storm and it has internet radio. You just type in an artist or song and it starts playing non-stop music in less than a minute so the iphone isn't so special music-wise. In terms of the battery, I have no idea.
