What does DD and DS mean?
Dear Daughter. Dear Son. Common internet terms on anonymous forums like this. You may want to check out The Acronym List in the Community Information Forum.
What does DD and DS mean?
Hello, I received the same notification. I am under Boarded/Under Consideration even though I was a very competitive applicant. Hopefully this is an error, as it seems impossible for the board to make decisions so quickly (since they gathered very recently). I emailed the Department of Army through the portal and will update this thread when I receive a reply.

Nobody knows yet. We are all in the same boat. Please let me reword my question from earlier. Our DD was not selected during the first board. Her site has said Boarded right along. Yesterday morning it changed from "Boarded" to "Boarded/under consideration". Would this pertain to the first board? or would it pertain to the second board? Does it mean we are now waiting for the third board? Concerned as are others.
I emailed a contact at university who works as part of there ROTC department and they said 2 to 4 weeks and this was repeated earlier in the thread. Here’s the question; has anybody gotten a winner notification, or are we all in the “boarded/under consideration” boat? If nobody had any other status notification, it’s likely that results for the second board haven’t been released, right?
Great postJust a couple things to think about.
1) you can never use what happened last year or even the last board as an indicator for how things will work on the next board. Cadet Command seems to change procedures more then I change my socks.
2) While the notifications are not posted for up to 2 or 3 weeks (Sometimes longer), it doesn't mean the selections haven't been made. The offers need to be approved and then uploaded into the system, this takes time. In short, the selections are made much sooner then then the status changes are made.
3) Don't get caught up in how competitive you think or have been told you are, the only people who count are those on the board and nobody knows what they deem competitive. As it's been said before, almost everyone is as competitive as you and they only award so many scholarships.
4) Don't get to caught up in what is posted on the status page, especially when it seems to be something new, there really are not very many people assigned to making the uploads and changes and there have been and will be glitches.
5) Always be thinking of a Plan B....C,D and E if need be. There are many ways to achieve the same goal, just make sure you do your research and be ready for anything
All of this new information sure doesn't make the waiting any easier, the best you can do is take a breath and wait for something official.
Best of luck to you all.
