C/O 2019 Mailbox Stalkers

Talked to an USNA Alumni who'a a BGO from SC: said that this year decisions are delayed for some reason, he didn't know why.

nukepharm, it would seem really strange not having you (and the others) here to contribute your thoughts and ideas. I'm happy you're sticking around. :)

Have a great trip. Oh! Could you show the midshipmen a little love, and please ask the mouse if his relatives would vacate Mother B? I'm sure they'd appreciate it. :)

Thanks d22! I am tight with old Mick so I will see if he and Minnie can recall some of their friends from Mother B!

We are already having a fantastic time! We were at Magic Kingdom until 2:30am this morning! Fun times! A little bittersweet as it is our last big family adventure. Family life will be a changing!

We have been on Spring Break this past week. Will check mail when we get home. Not super hopeful, as no MOC call this week. There will likely be TWE waiting. Plan to move ahead with alternate Plan A if that's the case. Cheers to all! Nuke, great to still hear from you! Sorry your alma mater didn't get past first round. Have a great time in Land of the Mouse. Our fam has had some great times there!!

We are in Northern GA and our MOC (Collins) has heard from all the SAs, so it might be the southern districts or more competitive districts that have't been figured out yet. Our MOC liaison did inform us that they will only hear from the Academy about the appointees from his slate actually charged to him. They will not get any information from SAs about those selected from national pool that might have been on his slate. They usually don't find out about that unless a candidate notifies their office of an appointment.

I'm assuming this week admissions is trimming their list again, and Friday and Saturday there'll be more TWE's delivered. Thoughts, insights.

It certainly seems like that has been the pattern. Ugh! Here we go again with another tough week. My DS was just rejected at his 2nd choice…so I was at least thankful a TWE did not arrive on the same day as well! :(

It's tough hearing about rejections, I'm so sorry. All fingers and toes crossed for your DS and everyone else anxiously waiting.
