C/O 2019 Mailbox Stalkers

My question is - why haven't we received a TWE yet? (Literal question, not sarcasm--and really don't want a TWE...). Just wonder what other category is there?

I would concur most appointments have been sent minus up to 250 (give or take a few) that have been held for those currently in either Foundation or NAPS. In the next 2 weeks the Admissions Board will have a final review of those Midshipman Candidates (NAPS/Foundation) where most will receive their appointment. If history serves as a baseline there will be 20-30 that do not (didn't hold up their requirements), and I would assume that to fill those new slots (20-30ish) some will be pulled off a waitlist. There will also be candidates pulled from the waitlist after May 15th when others including those in NAPS/Foundation either decline admissions or miss the deadline of acceptance.

Why can't they put us out of our misery? I don't think it's that hard to computer-generate a TWE and put it in the mail.

Nothing here.. Like a slow death. Take the horse out back and shoot it already!!!
Luckily we are so happy with our DS other choice that at this point the TWE just doesnt matter..

Our stalking ended today with the arrival of the TWE :-( Now she can move forward with plan B, a 4 year NROTC scholarship at OU.
Good luck to those still waiting - and maybe we'll see the rest of you on the reapplication boards for next year!

Nothing in the mail!!!! Going nuts. Called admissions, they said by next Tuesday....

TWE day in Massachusetts. I want to thank all of you for sharing your stories and thoughts. I never would have made it through this process as a parent without all of you. Our TWE moment went like this: 2:30 today: He read the letter, put it on the counter, then I read the letter, then we hugged and cried hard for 10 minutes without saying a word. It was a moment in my life I'll never forget. He went upstairs, tossed a few things around in his room, then his basketball coach came over, more tears, then he changed his clothes and headed out the door to baseball practice. It was so quiet and lonely after he left.

If you don't mind, I would like to post a few highlights from my son's profile---read it if you'd like---I'm going to write it because it will be therapeutic for me to share it with all of you, my forum friends. [I won't list everything so I won't bore you!] ;)
