LFry, looks like I'll probably be there with you reapplying next year. Received the TWE from WP yesterday and have heard nothing from AFA. It's certainly hard, and no one aside from candidates and family will ever know the feeling, but I do look forward to the opportunity to strengthen my app, get a summer job, volunteer, play some tennis over the summer, and mature. The worst part is that even though you know what's probably coming, it still hits you just as hard. However, I don't regret a thing. My interest in the academies has led to better grades, higher motivation, and the knowledge of what I want to do in the future: be an officer in the US military. I am strongly considering NWP next year. I've heard so many great things about it, and talked on the phone with Mrs. Durbeck for a while and it seems like one of the best options for me. Many prepsters on here say that they were actually glad that they didn't make it their first year applying, because they weren't ready for it at all! 2016USAFA, you should look it up, it is a great opportunity if we are not appointed this year.
