Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could provide insight on submitting college transcripts for the USNA application.
When I go to order it, I get an error saying “USPS was unable to find the address you entered as deliverable.
Addresses on a university or college campus are controlled by the school and may not be registered with the US Postal Service. Please check with the recipient for an alternate or updated address.

Entered Address
52 King George Street
Annapolis MD 21402”

I found this address on the application instructions page on USNA website. Is there a different one I need to be sending to? The error prompt gives me an option to just send anyway, and I was thinking of just doing it. There’s also an electronic option. Any thoughts and advice are appreciated.

USPS doesn't always recognize the USNA zip codes. My advice is send which ever way you feel confident in sending. Electronic may be faster. Allow a week for the snail mail to arrive. By all means, be vigilant in following up to assure receipt however you send. My DS had to send his transcript twice from big school and the second time we paid for the tracking and extra notifications. Peace of mind if available.
Good luck!!

If you can, spend the extra money to have your transcript delivered via fedex. USPS is close to useless when it comes to these things.

Does the school allow you to send it via a specific carrier?? I thought they generally sent things electronically now?

I ask, because my son is trying to figure out where/how to send his for the Fall semester right now.

I had a similar issue entering the USNA address on my college portal - try another browser if you use Chrome (Firefox or Edge) and be sure to use incognito window. It should allow you finally.

My son ended up getting it in via electronic submission and it now shows up in his portal. Only thing to close out his application would be a nomination (which, like last year, isn't looking good).

I wish the best for your son and his nomination process.

If I may ask, where/who did he send the electric submission to?
